The Cathedral Basilica of Matera, built in the thirteenth century is the mother church of the city. In 1389 it was dedicated to Santa Maria della Bruna, patron saint of the city celebrated every 2 of July.
The liturgical set is inspired by the geometries of the columns of the portal, and the rose window of the Church., elements that were then reported on the stolons of the vestments
